Hi! I'm Kirstie Margalit. In case you’re wondering, it's pronounced KEER-stee Mar-GUH-leet. And yes, people often struggle to pronounce it. For many years, my maiden name made things even more complicated. (It was Grondorf—I know, very reminiscent of a character from Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.)
Now on to why you're here—to learn more about what I do. I discovered I loved writing in high school, and I never stopped. I majored in English in college, and discovered copywriting a couple of years after I graduated. Over the years, I've worked for big names like Nordstrom, Disney, Murad Skincare and Urban Decay—mostly on in-house creative teams, although I did the agency thing for a little while too.
These days I freelance for beauty brands like Pipette, Rare Beauty, Olaplex, Glamglow and Borboleta Beauty.
When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, baking, and hanging out with my husband and my daughter.
